Danny Salemme is a screenwriter and director raised on bargain bin horror movies.

Along with his reader-recommended feature Cottonmouth ranking as the #1 script on The Black List, as well as being selected for Coverfly’s The Red List, he attached producer Ross Katz (In the Bedroom, Lost in Translation) to his feature, The Mailman.

Danny has placed in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Fest, Roadmap Writers Top Tier competition, and Launch Pad Feature Competition. He lives in California with his husband, Cody, and hound dog, Brewster.
